In 2022, Our founding members made the decision to step back from full-time foster care in order to expand their impact beyond the 1 to 2 kids they could accommodate in their home. Today, thanks to our amazing partners and the support of our community, Bridging the Gap now positively influence over 100 kids every month, with a remarkable 400 families and 565 children served just last December from our annual Giving Tree Program. Our nonprofit is dedicated to helping the children in the FM area who experience homelessness, are in the foster system, and live below the poverty line. We are on a mission to provide support, resources, and opportunities to these vulnerable children, ensuring they have a brighter future. With over 191 kids in our community facing homelessness, and approximately 9,000 kids living below the poverty line in Fargo Moorhead, our work is crucial. We believe that every child deserves a chance to succeed, regardless of their circumstances.

SCHOOL PANTRIES
Support our effort to keep our school pantries well-stocked with food items and basic hygiene products. Your contribution allows us to provide these essentials, ensuring students maintain good health and dignity, allowing them to focus on their education without worry. Together, we can create a supportive environment where no student is held back by lack of access to basic needs.

TRANSPORTATION
We believe every young person deserves the opportunity to succeed without logistical barriers holding them back. For many kids in our community, something as simple as a ride can stand in the way of getting to school, keeping a job, or participating in activities that help them grow. That’s why our dedicated transport van plays such a critical role in our mission. It provides safe, reliable transportation to and from school, work, and extracurricular programs. With this van, we’re not just giving rides; we’re giving young people a chance to show up, stay engaged, and take steps toward a brighter future.
